When I get behind, I get behind!

So, I'm a little behind on this blog.  Oops!  So to catch up I'm just going to do one giant picture post and catch up real quick.  Hopefully I can keep up!  Here are my dailies, I skipped a day here and there but I'm happy I'm sticking to it :)

It's our first Friday of my husbands new schedule!  Plus the girls didn't have school today!  He did have to go in for a couple hours but it was still nice to be able to hang out.  We decided to play tourists for the day and took a drive down to the Strip.  The girls love "the water show" at Bellagio and I love the ever changing flowers inside.  It was a different feel this time because we went at night and there was no sun to light up my photos.  I still managed to find a favorite :)

I was trying to help her build stuff and take pictures at the same time.  I think this look means she's over the picture taking.

My friend had her baby today!  I got to visit him :)  Of course I had to take a picture of his birth place for him.

Love Your Shot! Link-Up

My friend just had her baby yesterday!  He was scheduled to be here on 10/10/10 but this little man had his own agenda :)  I was so excited I got to see him yesterday, he is in the NICU for right now to help with his breathing.  I was able to take a few quick shots before the nurses did their shift change stuff.  He is the most precious little thing ever!  I can't wait until he goes home so I can do a real photoshoot with him and his family.  I keep looking at this picture because it makes my heart melt, he's just too cute for words!  I had to enter it in this Love That Shot! link up.

I converted it to black and white and added a little warm and cool contrast.

The weather has been really crazy.  Hot one day, cool the next, hot in the morning, rainy in the afternoon....  It looked like a decent day so I took the girls out and let them ride their bike and scooter and they had a little tea party.  It was super hot by time we sat down to have a tea party so we packed up a few minutes later and went back home.  A few hours later the clouds set in and we were delighted to see rain!   Here's one from the tea party

I realized yesterday I don't like "clear blue skies"  I like skies with clouds!  Any kind of clouds, it gives the sky character.  I love it! 
I have a weird plant in my backyard, the flowers grow upside down and then they die a couple days later then this long stick thing grows out from the top.  I don't know if i'm supposed to cut it or leave it.  It does make for an interesting photo though :)

Today we found out Natalie has her very first loose tooth!  She is super excited to get a gift from the tooth fairy.  Our tooth fairy leaves fairy dust all over the place and a gift rather than money.  The tooth fairy wasn't really thinking when she started this tradition :)  So here's Nat watching the ducks

Today Natalie and I took a trip to our favorite store, Target!  I got what I needed and we took a little detour to the toy section.  The classic toys caught my attention, they kept Nat's attention for about 30 seconds.  It was long enough for me to snap a few photos.  I love her tongue sticking out.

Some days Ashley wants to do homework, some days she's just not into it.  Understandable, sometimes I want to cook, clean, organize...some days I don't.  This was one of those not into it days.  But she did enjoy me taking pictures of her :)

I bribed the girls into cleaning their play room "quickly and without fighting"  I told them if they did I would bring down the rest of their stuffed animal from the closet.  I don't know why I would bring in MORE toys, but it was said and done.  We have tons of stuffed animals.  Mainly from Build-a-Bear, we are big fans!  They were super excited though and at least now I'll have something to take away if they don't keep their room clean.  In the end the room was clean, there was not 1 argument and everyone went to bed happy with "new" babies.  Win win!

Ashley is SO interested in these little herbs.  Everyday she asks if she can see them.  2 out of 3 are now sprouting.  I'm very proud!
